Lake Q events

New for 2012-Charity Runs! The first Lake Q race of every month will be a charity run. All proceeds will be donated to a charity of the club's choice. The beneficiary of the February 1st run will be the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. The race entry can be either the usual $2.00, or bring in any canned food donations. All food and monetary proceeds will go to the food pantry.

The February 15th Lake Q Race will be a Valentine's Race. Prizes will be awarded to the top runners in each age group (more info on awards to come). Bonus points for creative costumes-just kidding! Maybe there will be some sweet treats, though.

Club Meetings

On February 1st, we will have an all-club meeting. This meeting will feature Certified Sports Nutritionist Rachel Gargano. Rachel has a practive in Stoneham, MA. Visit Rachel's Web site for more information about her. http://www.rgnutritionandwellness.com/
