Club Elections Begin

This year’s club elections will be conducted online. The first step for potential candidates is to make your intention to run known to 
Club Secretary Monique Plourde ( by November 15th. 
Candidates’ bios, goals, and photo should be sent to her by Nov. 30th. The election website will be up b Dec. 7th, and voting will continue through Dec. 15th.  

Winners will be announced on December 22nd.

Marathon Draw Night Set

Wednesday, November 7th, is the night we will draw names from the lucky Marathon Hat.  We will meet at RCTV, 557 Main Street, Reading following the Q.  The drawing will begin promptly at 8:30. We will have a potluck celebration, so please bring along a treat to share.    We had a great time and plenty to eat while we drew the names of 5 winners and 5 alternates.

Mystic Classic 2018 a success!

 The Mystic Classic – was a huge success.  With well over three hundred registered runners, it marked the biggest turnout yet. Adding to that were many Mystics 
out in full force, at water stops, registration, course marshals, photographers, and others, it was a great club event. Many Mystics also took home prizes, as our members 
fared well in the race. This year marks the 13th running of the race which has been called, in the past, The Bikini Run, The Bikini 5K, and the Swimsuit Classic.

Kathrine Switzer at GLRR -10/15/2018

Kathrine Switzer, the famed Fearless 261 female entrant in the 1967 Boston Marathon spoke at GLRR's monthly meeting at Princeton Station, Chelmsford. At the club's invitation, several Mystics were on  hand to meet Kathrine and hear her words of wisdom.  Thank you, GLRR for this rare opportunity.
